A Message from Martin Cartwright, Commodore

As we welcome the start of a new sailing season, it's a real pleasure to see the club coming back to life after the winter months. Longer days, steadier winds, and the return of activity on the water remind us why we're all here.

Whether you're a seasoned sailor, a regular racer, or just beginning your journey, this time of year brings fresh opportunities—to improve skills, reconnect with fellow members, and simply enjoy being out on the water. Our calendar is already shaping up with racing, training, and social events, and I encourage everyone to get involved as much as they can.
A club like ours thrives on the energy and contribution of its members. From volunteers and instructors to those helping behind the scenes, your efforts make everything possible. Thank you for the time and enthusiasm you bring. I would like to give special thanks to members of the Powerboat school, Race officers, Sunset series and support boat and safety crews who give up so much of there time and make sailing  possible and safe for our members.
This season, let's focus on making the club welcoming, safe, and enjoyable for all. Look out for one another on and off the water, lend a hand where you can, and don't hesitate to introduce yourself to someone new.

Wishing you all fair winds, good sailing, and a fantastic season ahead.
