Whether you are a dinghy, cruiser, or just plain social sailor, the Dabchicks has something for you. The Bar offers a warm welcome at weekends and during the summer months whenever sailing is taking place.

In addition, strictly social functions are organised by the Social committee, everything from cosy suppers to full on parties.

At the end of the season, the main event of the year is the Laying Up Supper and Prizegiving usually held away from the Club.

All members, their invited guests and visiting sailors are welcome at the Club functions. The Club's Social Secretary is always on the lookout for new ideas, should you feel like volunteering in some way, shape or form or may be you have hidden talents to share, please let us know.

There are a number of regattas for all classes held annually, these vary from low key one day opens to ' can we squeeze any more in the Club' weekends (sometimes longer). These inevitably have social functions attached, so if you are free to help out we are always eternally grateful, it is amazing how much goes on behind the scenes!

Whether you are a parent of a child just learning to sail or a seasoned sea dog, we look forward to meeting you at the Club sometime in the near future.
