Port Fleet - Some Things to Remember
- Check for any messages on the Port Board (usually
by the DSC doors) as soon as you get down to the waterfront.
- Sign on at the signing on sheet and make sure
your parents do as well.
- Briefing is at 6.30 at the DSC- you must be there
to find out what you will be doing during the evening.
- Be changed and rigged for the briefing and make
sure your boat checks are done.
- It is best to leave your boat in its space until
after the briefing but if you have to move it make sure it will not
be in anyone else’s way.
- Take your boat down to the hard when the Beach
Team have called for your fleet – NOT BEFORE.
- Collect your tally band when you are asked to
- NOT BEFORE
- Make sure you take the right numbered band.
- Stay off any of the big trolleys and other things
around on the hard whilst you are waiting to go afloat.
- Be ready to launch as soon as it is Port Fleet’s
turn to go.
- Remember to say thank you for the help you have
been given.
