Directions: From Colchester,
take the B1025 signposted Mersea and follow this road for approximately
7-8 miles. On crossing the causeway on to the Island, follow the road
as it bears sharp right (signposted West Mersea). Proceed through a series
of bends and up the hill. At the top of the hill the road bends sharp
right, followed approximating 100m later by a sharp left.
At the sharp left bend, turn off to the right and into Colchester Road.
After about 200m the road bears sharp left. Following this bend, take
the second right into Firs Road. Continue down Firs Road as far as you
can go, where the waterfront area will be observed immediately in front.
Turn right in front of the West Mersea Yacht Club and follow Coast Road
for 250m after which Dabchicks Sailing Club will be observed on your Left.
