Racing takes place for dinghies in the following classes Fast handicap, Slow handicap and Optimists on Sundays from April to October and from May to September on a Wednesday. If a class of dinghy regularly exceeds 6 then we can also include class starts. The Wednesday series is called the Sunset Series and a separate registration takes place for this event. Once again the Programme is the place too look.

A variety of types of racing takes place on a Sunday including, Pursuit races, Fun races, Round Osea race, Creeks races as well as the normal series racing. Some events will also include a BBQ back at the club and the galley is open for tea and coffee after sailing.

You will be rostered during the year to do duties as OOD or safety boat personnel. It is important that when you get your programme you put these duties in your diary and please turn up. It is your responsibility to find a replacement or to swap with somebody if you are unable to fulfill the duty. If you are not sure what is required or you need some training please contact the Dinghy Captain.
